The History of Makeup

Cosmetics today are very prominent in modern society, but what are its origins? How did it come to be so popular today?

The invention of makeup cannot be traced to one person, it is traced back to periods in history, the earliest being the Egyptians. Egyptian people used scented oils to mask the scent of body odour. They believed cosmetics to be extremely important part of their hygiene routine.

Dress the Pirie's!!

Today we will dress the Pirie's!

My team today consists of;

Shannon!
Ainsley!
Dione!
Sarah!
&
Myself!

We have chosen to dress the Pirie's as the Wayne family from the Batman universe.

For Donald we have a Stefano Ricci suit coming in at an expensive £3250.00 from Harrods!

For Jo we have a beautiful Alexander McQueen dress coming in at £3899.00 from Harrods!

For Oscar we have a Batman costume £29.74!

For the bullet wounds for Thomas and Martha Wayne, I also found some prostethic bullet wounds and fake blood from Amazon.

The makeup for Martha Wayne would be quite pin-up style using MAC products.

Halloween

On Halloween 2014 I dressed up as a gargoyle. The costume took a few weeks to make and prepare and I spent around £45 on finding supplies from Amazon and Ebay.
